What is base wood? and should it be used to make a guitar base with?
I think you mean Basswood?
It is a good, porous, lightweight wood used for many guitars. It is inexpensive, and quite popular.
Now by guitar base, I'm assuming you mean Bass Guitar?
In that case, you can use basswood to make a bass guitar.
However, You can use almost any wood to build a guitar (heck, you can even use MDF to build a guitar), but you have to take into consideration the acoustic properties of the wood. This can determine if the finished guitar will sound muddy or if it will sound so beautiful that it will make your ears bleed.
