Vintage Sliver
magic the gathering playable cards question.?
My friend said my slivers have been "cycled" out of mtg due to them being from a series older than 2 years. I'm sure hes correct looking it at from a "standard format" point of view. but there are other formats to play in, such as" vintage format". Now i see "Vintage format" as the more traditional non-tournament format to use wen just having fun with friends. Now i explained to him that in the vintage format it allows me to use my slivers but he still claims that even in vintage format my slivers are still unplayable do to their age (oldest cards are from 2006 and up). is there anyone that can enlighten me on this situation
You are right about being able to play old slivers in vintage.
"Vintage decks may consist of cards from all Magic card sets, any edition of the core set, and all special sets, supplements, and promotional printings released by Wizards of the Coast."
