Painted Brass
How can enamel paint be removed from a brass locket?
There are glass jewels on the front of the locket, too. Someone has painted over the metal with blue enamel paint and I want to try to salvage the piece. Any odeas?
You can try soaking it in acetone. It is fairly inexpensive and you can purchase it in the automotive section. Glass, wood, and metal should not be affected, but for other materials, test it first. Keep acetone away from kids and pets. It stinks too, so maybe do it outside.
