Head Horse
How do you make a homemade horse head collar?
I would like to know how i can make a horse head collar out of rope.I know that you have to tie knots here and there but i would like something like step one loop the rope through....... etc. Please if you can help me be able to make a homemade horse head coller
put the rope around the horses neck like you're going to lead him,then make a tight(not tight around the horses' neck,but tight as in hold together tight) double knot set on place where you want it to stay tightness and placement wise around the horses' neck,then wrap( from the bottom up)a loop around the horses' muzzle,below the cheek and tear bones then take your long piece of rope you have left and run it through this loop around the muzzle then taking it under the chin and back thru the neck loop so you can use it as a lead rope,or you can tie it off and just use the halter.remember these knots need to be loose enough you can slide them off.or if you have confidence in your knot tying ability use slip knots for more control over the horse and ease taking on and off,that is how i do it..hope this is what you wanted,i was taught this(among many other valuable things) by a very old indian who lived down the road from me when i was barely a teenager,lots of which i never thought i'd use,but believe me i have!good luck
