What are some good christmas ideas for family?
I am trying to figure out my christmas shopping list and everyone in my family is really hard to shop for and I was just wanting some good ideas....here is a list of people in my family and what they like:
Mom:Make-up,clothes,and cooking but dont really know what
Grandma:Cooking,collectible stuff.
Grandpa:Loves going to the lake and fishing also loves doing construction but he has everything that he needs for that
7 Year old sister:My mom is getting her a Wii so I know I am going to get her some games...she also loves princess barbies but has all of them
14 year old sister:Love's name brand clothes but I dont know if she will wear them if I buy them...she also like perfume and lotions
Fiance`:Loves to play games...but I dont just want to get him games.
PLZ HELP!!
For Mom, Grandma and Grandpa - how about a framed photo of you, or you with them? Include a nice card and a hand written letter telling them how much you love them and how much they mean to you. You could also tell them about a lesson they taught you, or some great advice you wish you'd listened to sooner, you get the drift. Something personal between you and them.
A digital photo frame (that you've already downloaded the photos for them) for all the grown ups would be great. Include photos of them when they were young, up to now and of course photos of you and your family.
You might add a really nice lure or two for Grandpa - something he might not buy himself.
How about a cookbook of 5 ingredients or less, or slow cooker recipes for Grandma? A certificate to her favorite hair salon would also be great. Mom might like that, too.
You could get your 14 year old sis a nice bath set with lotion, soap, cream, body scrub, back brush, etc. How about a manicure set with nail polish?
You could get your fiance a Mizpah coin - See the link below for what it is. You should be able to find them locally. It's a very thoughtful gift. Again, I'd give him a photo of the two of you.
